After 10 months of inactivity, development has finally resumed on Mirage 2. I want to thank people who continued to send support messages during this period. You really encouraged me not to give up.

The estimated release date for Mirage 2 is now Q4 2006. It will be released simultaneously for Winamp, iTunes and Windows Media Player.

Mirage 2 will feature advanced graphics techniques, leveraging recent developments of GPU technology. Of course it will maintain some degree of compatibility with older hardware. It will natively support high resolutions, for both 4/3 and 16/9 displays.
